• Complying with the Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994, Factory and Machinery Act 1967, Environmental Quality Act 1974 and other applicable laws, regulations and statutory obligations
• Ensuring all employees, clients and sub-contractors endorse our "NO HARM" vision
• Establishing and continually developing health and safety education systems and training
• Ensuring consistent safety practices across all our work sites
• Eliminating controllable hazards
• Undertaking regular audits of safety  practices & management systems
• Taking disciplinary action when staff/subcontractors disregard health and safety procedures/practices
• Ensuring all accidents and near misses are fully investigated and that action are taken to prevent recurrence
• Welcoming initiatives and suggestions to improve safety performances
• Regular consultation and targeted communication to employees, sub-contractors and clients
• Providing an effective system of rehabilitation management for injured employees

All employees and sub-contractors are required to : 

• Adhere to Jalur Cahaya's  safe work practices, objectives and instructions
• Immediately report any unsafe work practices/equipments/conditions to their supervisor
• Not misuse, refuse to use, damage or interfere with anything provide for the purpose of occupational health and safety
